Titania Michniewicz - Other Works
Painting is an ever evolving journey, and I enjoy painting both on canvas and on mylar. Canvas as a surface is far more forgiving than the mylar. It enables me to play with my strokes and to layer colour. The result is often a lot softer than my works on mylar.
With my Buddha paintings, I have chosen to work with the palette from my copper phase. The rich orange and gold metallic paint in playful contrast to the deep, rich blues and purples seems appropriate for this foray into Sacred art.
