Gemscapes: HeartsHome Gallery

This series of Gemscape hearts is named after my home on Bowen: HeartsHome. They are a celebration of 5 years in our little home.

As a child, I became enamoured with the European tradition of naming a place. When we received word that the little house on Bowen was ours, I asked for it's name to be revealed to me before bed that night. In a dream I clearly heard: "HeartsHome". Not being overly sentimental, I initially thought it a rather "cheesy" name. It became more appropriate when I learned that our possession date was Valentine's Day, and we kept finding hearts around the property!

Hearts are a symbol traditionally associated with love, and it is my hope that these pieces will a reminder of Love and Beauty to a world that could use them! After all, love is more powerful than fear.
